Intermediate and Advanced Ride
Fleming Meadow–August 28, 2010
Our scheduled ride this month was Sawtooth Ridge but one of the best trails we would normally ride has been closed so the ride is being moved to Fleming Meadow.
BRIEF RIDE SYNOPSIS:
Fleming Meadow is a great Sierra Foothills ride with ride options available for Intermediate and Advanced riders. The Fleming Meadow and Jenkinson Lake trails have been favorite trails with local riders for years. Our route will first include the Fleming Meadows Loop with an option to ride the Jenkinson Lake loop as well. Fleming Meadows is mostly single track with a few fire roads and several gradual, but long climbs followed by fun, fast descents on hard packed single track. There are a few technical rock areas easily traversed by most riders.
Genesis 2:8-9 “Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden and there He put the man he had formed. And the Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground – trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
